Daily Habit Edit publishes practical guides about everyday wellness habits. This page explains how we choose topics, research them, keep them up to date and keep advertising separate from our editorial content.
How we research
- We start from primary and authoritative sources: peer-reviewed studies, university health publications (for example Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Stanford Medicine), the Mayo Clinic, and U.S. government guidance such as ODPHP and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
- We link to the sources we rely on inside each article, so you can check them yourself.
- We describe what research suggests, not what it cannot prove. We avoid words like “cure”, “guaranteed” or “miracle”.
- We do not give personal medical advice. Our Medical Disclaimer explains when to talk to a doctor.
How we keep content accurate
- Every article shows the date it was last updated.
- We review published articles regularly and update them when official guidance or the evidence changes.
- If you spot an error, email hello@dailyhabitedit.com. We review every correction request and update the article when it is warranted.
Advertising and affiliate links
- Some pages contain affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
- Paid or promotional pages are always labeled “Advertorial” at the top of the page.
- Product information on advertorial pages is based on details published by the brand. Advertisers do not edit our guides, and a commission never changes the facts we report.
- We do not publish fake reviews, invented testimonials or before-and-after photos.
